Cooking is just like anything else, if you know how, it’s easy. Even though I’m a chef, I don’t always know what I want to make, and more importantly, I don’t always feel like cooking. I guess you could say that I’m a cooking opportunist. I tend to gravitate to a cuisine type or a particular ingredient. Taking what’s in my head and turning it into something my family and friends would enjoy. I may get last-minute inspiration from random things around me or I look aimlessly in my mostly empty, single-man’s fridge to see what I can cobble together. The difference is, I understand how to compose a dish.
With that being said, a lot of people aren’t comfortable doing this. Well, I’m here to tell you I can help. If it’s a movie night, BBQ, or baby shower I am here to lend a hand. Figurately speaking. You can ask me questions, about food, equipment, or Loki. I can help with menu planning for an event or how much water you should cook pasta in. Don’t worry about not being able to find an answer. Just ask me.
