Harissa Spiced Almonds

Want a nut with a kick? These are defiantly something to tickle the taste buds.

Equipment

  • Measuring Spoons
  • Measuring Cup
  • Bowl
  • Cookie Sheet

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Almonds sliced
  • 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 4 tbsp. Harissa
  • cup Sugar
  • 3 tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Pre heat oven to 350°F/177°C line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  • In a Bowl combine all ingredients and mix until the Almonds are completely coated
  • Place the Almonds on the parchment lined cookie sheet
  • Cook in the oven for approximately 10 minutes, remove and stir and cook another 10 minutes
  • Let Almonds cool completely and store in an airtight container

Notes

Additional Twist: You can change the nut to use any you wish. Changing the spice is as easy as replacing it. Even swap out the sugars for Palm, Coconut or Johakuto/Japanese Sugar.
