The perfect surprise bite of sweet goodness.

I mean who doesn’t like cooking with wine? These little things will pack quite a kick when you bite into them. Oh and why not have a glass of wine while letting them marinate. Check out the link in notes to add them to a Kale Salad.

Drunken Raisins

Sweet and tart Raisins that can be added to salads, baking or savory dishes.
Servings 4 people
Cook Time 10 mins

Equipment

  • Sauce Pot
  • Measuring Cup
  • Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 cups White Wine
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Golden Raisin

Instructions

  • Add Wine and Sugar to a pot and Bring to a boil
  • Pour Wine mixture over the Raisins and steep overnight
  • Leave in wine and use in various dishes or just snack on them

Notes

Additional Twist: The wine can be substituted with any Dessert Wine or Ice Wine. Try them with a Ruby Port or Cab Franc Ice Wine for even more fun.
